Why is some (or all) of my Facebook data missing?

Syncing your Facebook page with your Project shows you important data about your Facebook engagement and audience. This data comes directly from Facebook’s API.

Your Project displays the data it receives from the Facebook API. When Facebook doesn’t have a certain minimum amount of information for different categories, it doesn’t send that data. This can cause some Projects to show no Facebook data even though the Page owners can see that data in their Facebook Insights dashboard.

Here are the minimum data thresholds required for Facebook’s API to send data to your Review:

  • Facebook Views: The Page must have at least 100 likes.
  • Facebook Activity: The Page must have at least 100 likes.
  • Facebook Demographics: The Page needs at least 100 likes AND at least 100 different people viewing or engaging with the Page.
  • Facebook Top Locations: The Page needs at least 100 likes AND views from 100 different people with localization information usable by Facebook.
