I have xmlrpc.php broken link. How do I fix it?

If you have a WordPress site and run your review with WooRank, you might see a broken link that ends with “/xmlrpc.php”.

Just what is this file?

You can check out more information what this file does and why it exists here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML-RPC

https://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

Don’t worry it is not a broken link:

You will see a 405 error instead of a 404 error, which is a “method not allowed” error, not a broken link error.

Let’s get this fixed:

Check your installed Plugins, especially plugins that Optimizes or disables “not needed” Javascript/CSS files to enhance your site speed.

Look for any JavaScript files that you have disabled. if you have disabled any Javascript file, check to see if you have disabled “/wp-content/js/mustache.js”.
